Receive & Restore

Receive & Restore (R&R) is Kick’s flagship Health & Wellness program. Through R&R, Kick will provide valuable education on numerous health and wellness issues that plague our community.

  • The R&R program is offered two (2) times per year in the form of Health & Wellness workshops. Each workshop will cover a broad health related theme and participants will receive related materials.
  • While Kick is committed is to the LGBT community, the program is open to the adult public.
  • Each workshop will be publicized through email news-blasts to Kick’s general interest mailing list.
  • There is no cost to participants.

Learn & Live

Learn & Live (L&L) is just one manifestation of the organization’s commitment to offer valuable educational services to its constituents. The L&L program is a series of educational workshops with subject matter experts providing important information to the community.

  • The L&L program is offered four (4) times per year. FALL; WINTER; SPRING & SUMMER.
  • While Kick’s committed is to the LGBT community, the program is open to the adult public.
  • Each workshop will be publicized through email news-blasts to Kick’s general interest mailing list.
  • There is no cost to participants.

Help & Heal

Help & Heal (H&H) program is a faith-based support and action group designed to provide encouragement, education and resources to HIV / AIDS positive African-American men who engage in sexual behavior with other men.

  • The H&H sessions are offered four (4) times per year. FALL; WINTER; SPRING & SUMMER.
  • The H&H program is exclusively offered to African-American men who are HIV / AIDS positive.
  • Each program cycle is limited to between 10-12 participants.
  • Program intake will be invitation only.
  • There is no cost to participants.
